Holy week excursion.

To beat the summer heat and because we haven't been there for years, me, my family, and the family of one of my tita went to the summer capital..., Baguio city.

We don't want the hassle and the expense of bringing our own car, so we decided jus

t to take a bus ride. So around 3:50am, Maundy Thursday, we're already at Victory Liner Pasay Terminal, our tickets were scheduled for the 4am tr
ip. To our surprise, the dispatchers were still loading the 3:30am trip. All of the trips are delayed. We stand there patiently waiting [though our patience is really running low, especially my mom who keeps asking the conductors what's happening.] for our bus to arrive.

Finally, at around 5am [yeah! one hour delayed trip], we got on our bus and the journey started[better late than never right?]

After 8 grueling hours, at 2:00pm we reache
d our destination. There, my tita and tito where waiting by the gate of their rest house for our arrival [they went a day before us.]. We ate lunch, but
decided to leave the sight-seeing for tomorrow since most of us are already tired from the trip.

Good thing, we weren't disappointed by coming there. The climate was really different than here in Manila, around 15 degrees different. Th
e coolness and sometimes coldness in the air is refreshing. The perfect setting for piggin'-out [which is exactly what I did, eat and sleep.]!

See how thick the fog is.

The next day was the time to see the views, the sights, and so on..

Here are the pictures that I took..

We stayed there until Easter Sunday morning, we came back here in Manila, at around 1:30pm [Bus was on time this time.].

It was sure one hell of a trip, got to relax and enjoy the cool climate and cool views. Until next year Baguio.
